Love is in the air this February with the Fredericksburg Symphony Orchestra! Don’t miss the FSO’s special Valentine’s Concert featuring some of the most romantic songs from the classical and popular stages. The concert is Friday, February 17 at 7:30 pm at Lifepoint Auditorium in Central Park.
We’re setting the stage for romance with “Love is a Many Splendored Thing,” “Cinema Paradiso” – performed by concertmaster Robyn Bauer and “The Way You Look Tonight.” Classical highlights include Tchaikovsky’s “Romeo and Juliet,” Rachmaninoff’s stirring “Symphony No. 2” and the signature work of the evening – Ravel’s “Bolero.”
Guest vocalist Fredericksburg superstar Wyatt Michael (from NBC’s “The Voice”) will sing “Some Enchanted Evening” from South Pacific and “My Funny Valentine.”
