Founded in 2021, the Fredericksburg Symphony Orchestra (FSO) is a cultural jewel for Virginia. Led by Maestro Kevin P. Bartram, this professional 75-piece orchestra attracts the area’s top musicians and regularly sells out concerts—in fact, they have been sold out since early 2022.
This year the FSO will change venues while Lifepoint Auditorium is undergoing renovations. We are excited to announce that our new home will be James Monroe High School’s Auditorium, located in the heart of Fredericksburg. Monroe Auditorium has been the rehearsal space for the Symphony all along, and the hall boasts more seats, a larger stage, enhanced aisles and armrests, and fine acoustics.
Follow your FSO to our new home as we embark on our fourth season. Click on the Season Preview below, and remember, the FSO is a non-profit organization, so your tax-deductible donations make this all possible. See you at Monroe Auditorium!
The FSO is a 75-piece professional orchestra comprised of the best musicians in the region.
